![]() ![]() However for all its flaws there were certainly an equal number of positives to boot. I think a better distribution of budget would’ve been needed to make the flying scenes a little less wiry and a little more authentic. I’m not sure how much of a budget this movie received but some of the visuals were rather poor, particularly the scenes which involved Peter and company flying, yet the mermaids looked really good despite playing an insignificant role. Also I really didn’t like the portrayal of Tinkerbell in this movie either, similar issues as with Peter, I found her to her exceedingly annoying and wore thin on my patience. Jeremy Sumpter was cast and I found him to be largely irritating which in a way I kind of understood the cockiness and arrogance he portrays as he plays a boy who refuses to grow up but for me it came across as annoying and by the end of the movie he did nothing more than irritate me. My main problem with this rendition of Peter Pan was the choice of actor that played Peter Pan himself. While I enjoy the story of Peter Pan and his rivalry with Captain Hook it’s safe to say that this isn’t the best adaption of the famous story but is still worth watching. The Darling children along with The Lost Boys bring the laughs as this classic tale of Peter Pan, a young boy who refuses to grow up, unfolds. ![]() It’s a great coming of age adventure which has all the ups and downs of a soap opera but with the added addition of the magical land of Neverland and all the wonders that it brings. Peter Pan has always been a story that I’ve been able to enjoy. The Darling children Wendy, John and Michael are visited by Peter Pan and taken to Neverland where a battle with evil pirate Captain Hook and his crew ensues. Starring: Jeremy Sumpter, Jason Isaacs and Rachel Hurd-Wood
